Who we are

gacha.com.au is operated by Archery Attack Pty Ltd (ABN 61 609 500 745), part of the Vendables & Pop Attack network.

Information we collect

When you contact us, suggest a location or report an issue, we collect the details you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, message, and any photo you attach.

If you host or enquire about machines as a venue, we may also collect your organisation name and the venue details you submit.

Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to run the website (for example, to keep a session and remember your dark-mode preference).

We also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HRHW1B9VLE) to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser type and referral source. Google’s processing of this data is described in Google’s own privacy policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some features of the site.

Location data (“find near me”)

If you choose to use the “find near me” or “use my location” feature, your device asks for permission and your browser shares a location coordinate with the page so we can sort nearby machines. That precise location is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers.

We do store the suburb, state and coordinates of our machine venues — that is venue data, not your personal location.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, action issue reports, evaluate suggested locations, operate the location finder, measure how the site is used, and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run the site (for example hosting, email delivery and Google Analytics). They may only use it to provide those services.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our network, staff or customers.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry, suggestion and issue-report records for as long as we need them to handle your request and run the network, then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer required.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no website or email transmission is completely secure.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing info@gacha.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
